iPresso’s new integration will provide businesses with opportunity to reach their customers directly on Facebook’s Messenger. This will allow them to react quickly and in a relevant way.
Messenger is currently one of the most popular instant messaging services in the world, with about 1.3 billion monthly users. It is also widely used by businesses as a channel of customer service and communication.
More than 2 billion messages are sent between people and companies every month on Messenger, both automated and people-initiated. According to Nielsen’s “Facebook Messaging Survey”, 53% of people are more likely to shop with a business they can message directly, and 56% would rather message than call customer service.
iPresso’s integration with Messenger will allow businesses to send automated communications to their audience. The Marketing Automation system will record in its contact database the information about a customer starting a conversation on Messenger. This information can be then used in MA scenarios to send them a special offer, encourage purchases, provide support, or send any other appropriate message.
In order to launch the integration on your account, you will need to have your own app integrated with Facebook, and the contact you are going to communicate with will need to have expressed appropriate consents.
