That’s what the latest online study published by DAC Group revealed. And the bad news keeps coming – 38% of British companies do not have local branch pages, and just less than half (42%) use UTM performance marketing tracking. The study was conducted in seven market categories among over 500 companies.
This study perfectly shows that there’s still a lot of work to be done in this area. If you want your business to grow and thrive online, you have to take care of customer reviews, which are frequently a decisive factor when it comes to deciding whether to visit your company or your competitor’s.
Online reviews are actually one of the cheapest and most effective ways of getting new customers. That’s why there is nothing to justify neglecting that part of your business. If you don’t yet have a local page (Google My Business or Yelp), launch one immediately and encourage customers to publish as many reviews as possible.
